I booked the room online and got it for $67 and I can say it was definitely worth the $67. Had a couple small problems but the Matt guy that works here went above and beyond to help make everything right. I wish more hotels had workers like him. Very respectful and helpful person. I'd be happy to come back anytime.
I am a motorcoach driver, and we brought a group to Cedar Point. We stayed for the day. They had a great day rate for drivers. The room was very clean and comfortable. Had several close by food options to choose from. Highly recommend staying here.
Not the best hotel in Sandusky, but definitely far from being the worst! Good value, clean rooms, and AC worked well. Yes, the room was humid when we checked in but as soon as we turned on the AC it got better very quickly. The filters on the unit were clean and we didn’t struggle with any allergy issues due to dust blowing around. Did the carpet have some stains and the walls have some dings? Yes. But overall the room was clean and comfortable. Don’t let the bad reviews here keep you from staying at this very budget-friendly and clean hotel close to Cedar Point!
In short, the room was clean the location is close to Cedar Point and right next to a Walmart which is very convenient if you forget anything. I think prior reviews are likely expecting too much out of a motel. At this price point, a clean room is what you are looking for and the room was very clean.
Had a great experience. Got to motel after Cedar Point closed and had a sleeping grandson with me. The front desk guy Matt helped me carry my luggage to the room. He also made a trip to the vending machines for me so i wouldn't have to leave my sleeping grandson alone in the room. Later i go to take a bath to soak and relax. The plug wont plug Again front desk clerk Matt came and fixed the lever so i could soak in a hot tub. Very friendly helpful guy
Definitely a ‘You get what you pay for’ hotel. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done. Staff was friendly, room was clean, and gave us a place to lay our heads down while in town. One note: The room was strangely humid coming in the day time but seems go away by the evening. Get a candle and you’re good.
Got this room for me and my son well we went to Cedar Point which is about 15 min away. It was a great value with a good clean room.
We had a very pleasant stay. The only reason the room got a 4 star was because the walls were very thin and you could hear everything going on from the hallway. We also had some problems with the room keys but they were happy to fix it right away.
